Aug 13 Launch

We will have a waiver called in for the Aug 13 launch, but it is still not confirmed that anyone will be available who can set up and tear down the club equipment. If you are planning to come to the launch, please be aware that this is the case.

Due to the heavy rains expected today and the forecast >70% chance of
thunderstorms throughout the day tomorrow, MC2 and HARA leadership
have decided to cancel tomorrow's launch. Hope to see everyone at
Southern Thunder next month!!!

The first launch for 2011 is on March 12th!

The 2011 Launch Schedule is posted on the Launch Schedule page.

2011 membership is updated on our membership page. I'll add 2011 members as I receive their dues.

September Launch Rescheduled

The launch that was scheduled for 9/11/2010 has been postponed to 9/18/2010 due to the forecast rain for the Manchester area.

Again, we plan to hold the September launch on 9/18/2010.

MC2 Launch Controller

We have the launch controller delivered to Russ Bruner and he is working to have it repaired in time for the July 10th launch.

Southern Thunder Report

Southern Thunder 2010 was an excellent success. The funds raised this year exceeded last year by several hundred dollars. Thank you to everyone who work so hard to make this event fun, prosperous and entertaining. We appreciate the vendors who come out and make all of the essential rocketry supplies available.
