All flyers, A through M class welcome (N and O with prior approval). FAA authorized ceiling is 10K MSL. To ensure compliance, flights estimated above 8K require approval. We have the option of extending the FAA ceiling to 12K MSL with advanced notice prior to issuance of the NOTAM. Site is within the military Alert Area of Fort Campbell. Activities begin at 9:00 am and flights will end at 4:00pm in January and February. March and April can end as late as 5:00 pm as needed. Please stay and help us breakdown, so that the equipment will be stowed before the rapidly approaching sunset.

Our launches are open to the public. In addition to our club's members, many rocket clubs from universities throughout the Southeast and Mid-west fly with us as well! This means several spectacular flights involving large rockets! Whether you are a flyer or a spectator, a novice, expert, or a born-again rocketeer, our launches are always a lot of fun!

You do not need any experience to fly with us, however only NAR or Tripoli members with proof of current certification will be allowed to fly High Power. Members fly free at club launches, all others must pay a daily launch fee of $5.00 per flyer.

Newbies, do not worry, we will give you plenty of support and will even loan you a rocket to fly!  We keep rocket assembly materials onsite.  The facility also has an indoor restroom.

Pads to cover low through high power with rods through 1/4" and rails micro, mini, 1010 (8') and 1515 (12').

MC2 will adhere to Kentucky State COVID guidelines and requirements for all launches. While this is an outdoor event were social distancing requirements are easily maintained most of the time, there may be instances at the RSO table and pads where a mask would be appropriate please BYOM (bring your own mask).
